S. Brennan McClure, M.D.
Dr. McClure is the newest member of LBJS. He attended Vanderbilt University for his undergraduate studies and completed his medical training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. McClure completed his orthopaedic residency at the Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, SC. He then went on to the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles where he completed a sports medicine fellowship and served as an assistant team physician for the LA Lakers, LA Dodgers, LA Kings, Anaheim Angels, Anaheim Ducks, USC football team, LMU basketball team, as well as multiple local colleges and high schools. During his fellowship, Dr. McClure received extensive training in advanced arthroscopic techniques and procedures for the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle, as well as shoulder arthroplasty and complex ligament reconstructions for the knee, shoulder, and elbow. Dr. McClure is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Dr. McClure grew up in Asheville, NC. He is married and has two boys. He enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys an active lifestyle including most sports and is an avid fly fisherman and runner.
