Dr. McQuillen is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who joined LBJS in August 2006. He received his medical degree from the University of Louisville, and completed his surgical internship, orthopaedic surgery residency, and fellowship training at the University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic. After completing his residency, Dr McQuillen was a staff orthopaedic surgeon for the U.S. Navy from 2001-2005.

Dr. McQuillen practices general orthopaedics, but has a subspecialty interest in treatment of diseases and traumatic conditions of the foot and ankle. He became board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2003. He is an active Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and is a member of various orthopaedic and medical societies. Dr. McQuillen regularly participates in continuing education in both general orthopaedics and foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. McQuillen is married and has three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, golf, and hiking.
